Purpose and legal basis for processing

Our purpose for collecting this information is to process your registration for the event.

The legal basis we rely on for processing your personal data is the performance of a contract under article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

In addition, we might use your data to send you information on upcoming conferences related to the topic of this symposium. The legal basis we rely on for processing your personal data is our legitimate interest under article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

Disclosure of data to third parties

Should it be necessary within the framework of the congress organization to pass on data to third parties, we reserve the right to do so. In this case, third parties are, for example, hotels or other vicarious agents such as pressmen, shipping service providers, payment providers, etc. Your data will only be forwarded if this is necessary for the transaction. Only the data necessary for this step will be forwarded. Only transaction-relevant data records will be passed on. Should subcontracting relationships be concluded with service providers, these will be obliged by separate order processing agreements to comply with all applicable data protection regulations and will be reviewed in detail.

Deletion of data as well as the storage duration
